Hello faithful readers!

I apologize for not updating more frequently lately. I have been working on some custom and personal projects this week, as well as cards for the Cards for Troops campaign. I mailed my first batch of cards to Northridge Media for the campaign this afternoon! I just received my August Cards magazine (fantastic magazine by the way, I highly recommend a subscription!) with lots of fall/autumn ideas and I am excited to try some of my own twists on some of their ideas. I have no posted much on etsy the past week or so and I apologize for that as well. My husband and I are taking a well-needed vacation next week and I didn’t want to post anything new before we go (as I wouldn’t be able to mail your purchases until we get back after Labor Day). However, rest assured that I have a lot of ideas floating around in my head that I will be working on in full force when we get back.

Some projects to come include getting started on Christmas and Holiday cards and projects – I have another recipe box or two coming, Baby’s 1st Christmas book, lots of cards (thank you, happy birthday, etc) another couple card boxes, some Halloween cards and fall/autumn cards, and will probably get a jump on Christmas cards as well. I also have a couple more Word albums in the works – Love and Friend and possibly another Family album.  If any of my readers (or friends of readers!) have any requests for projects or ideas please comment or email me!

Also when I return from vacation I will be starting a more regimented blog. Different days will include a different themed post – for example, Mondays will be Card ideas, Tuesdays will be tips/techniques (usually something I will have used in Monday’s card example), Thursdays will feature a product review, Fridays will feature a Round-Up of the week (Best of – including websites, books, ideas, products, etc), and Saturdays I will post my weekly projects and updates on things for sale on my etsy site.

Also, I have had an idea turning over in my head the past couple weeks for doing a weekly email tutorial/instructional for cards. Each week, I would send an email (to anyone who subscribes – no junk mail and I won’t email those who don’t request to be put on my list) with a picture and illustration/drawing of one of my card ideas along with instructions and tips on how to make that card (also with tips on ways you can modify or change the card to make it your own).
