This afternoon I reoganized almost all of the Christmas cards on my etsy shop. With almost every product line I use to create my cards, I make between 2-6 cards. It seemed a little silly to me this week to post each of those cards individually – and drive up the costs to any potential customers, especially people who are most likely going to be sending more than one Christmas card this year! So, I have reorganized my Christmas cards. There are still a few that are sold individually, but the rest are grouped in card sets of 2-6 cards – all with their coordinating patterns and embellishments. So when you buy a card set, you are buying a set of coordinating Christmas cards – but all with different patterns, stamping, embellishments, layouts and design.

Check out the sets I put up today! www.L7designs.etsy.com.

Also, please don’t forget about my Dance In The Rain post/email from last week. I believe we are not doing enough to bless one another and bestow kind gifts upon one another. I believe the current state of the economy has only worsened our selfishness and tendency to think of our own regard and livelihood, when the next guy is suffering just as much or worse. My challenge to do something kind to at least one person isn’t meant to put you on a pedestal or to brag about what you or I have done, but rather to encourage each other to step outside of ourselves and give someone else a chance at being blessed. In the depression we are all in right now, even the most sunniest of days seem stormy and cloudy. We must learn to dance in the rain and turn these hardships into blessings – if not for us then for our friends, neighbors, family and strangers. Imagine how much happier the world would be if we just learned to spread a little kindness – especially to those who need it most (or those who we feel do not deserve it).

I have received a few responses so far to my challenge to do an act of kindness. I don’t really care what you do, or even why, it’s the importance of DOING and of humbling ourselves that I care about. Part of the reason I asked you to email me what you did is to encourage, not only myself in reading your responses, but to encourage yourself to continue doing these acts and especially encourage the recipients of your blessings to pass along the goodness!

Thank you for reading with me! Keep checking back for more updates on Christmas and Thanksgiving cards!
