  1. Debbie Mumm Scrapbook Paper and Embellishments

I went into our new Joanne Crafts & Fabrics store the other day and found some adorable baby-inspired paper and embellishments by Debbie Mumm! No other craft store I have ever been into has carried any scrapbooking products by Debbie Mumm so I had no idea she did anything other than fabrics and artwork. I loved it so much I bought a huge paper pack and box of chipboard Noah’s Ark shapes and am working on a BABY word album in a Noah’s Ark theme!

  2. Williams-Sonoma Meyer Lemon hand soap and lotion

The citrusy scent of lemon is one of my favorite scents in the world and I was so excited on Easter morning to find a set of Williams-Sonoma Meyer Lemon soap and lotion in my Easter basket from my hubby! I love the scent of their soap and lotion – it’s so crisp and fresh!

  3. Koloroo Color Wheel

I’d been looking around for a decent color wheel to use with my designs (expand my colorful horizons) when my husband came across this computer application called Koloroo. It’s a free application with one stipulation. You must do something nice for someone else, called Careware. Download the application on your computer or classic ipod (not compatible with the new ipod touch or iphones yet) – and is really great for choosing color combinations and how different shades and colors coordinate together. If you’re like me and have never used a color wheel much, this application will take a little bit of getting used to – but play around with it a bit and get a feel for how it works – it really is a great tool for scrapbookers and crafters! Go to Koloroo.com for more information!

  4. Crafty Apron

For Christmas this year, my husband bought me two aprons (I think both of them are from Anthropologie) – one for the kitchen (an adorable green and yellow apron patterned with teapots and teacups) and the other for my craft area. Hopefully you aren’t as messy as I am, but some how I end up getting ink, glue and bits of paper stuck to my hands. Some of my jeans have ink and glue stains on them, too. It may sound silly, but using a crafty apron is great for keeping myself clean (my clothes at least) and wiping off my hands when things get a little messy!

  5. Chocolate Alphabet Letter stamps from Close To My Heart

One of the benefits to being married to a graphic designer is a growing appreciation for beautiful fonts (and depreciation for ugly, overused ones). (Scrappers, please don’t ever us Comic Sans!). Close To My Heart is one of the growing numbers of stamp producers that have been gradually embracing beautiful fonts and transforming them into stamps. I’ve looked for a copy of this font online to put into my fonts file on my computer to no avail – I don’t think this is a completely exclusive font to CTMH, but more likely an alteration of a different font. Either way – I love this font and stamp set (someday I hope to get the large size Chocolate Alphabet Letter set) has become my favorite alphabet stamp set.

Thanks for creating with me!
