Etsy Spotlight: Bee Simple/The Flip Flop Mamma

One of the things I love about selling my handmade cards and papercrafted products on etsy.com is the huge community of talented artists. You can find just about anything and everything handmade or vintage on etsy by a wide variety of talented craftspeople. I love the mix of artists who sell their creations as a hobby, as their professional career and those who sell wholesale as well as on etsy. I encourage each one of my readers to browse through etsy.com and see what amazing artists and creations you can find!

My spotlight shop/seller this week is Bee Simple (aka The Flip Flop Mamma), a creative chai and body care artist!

Bee Simple was created by Jaymi, “Owner/Body Butter Extraordinaire/Chai Connoisseur” (from her etsy.com profile page). Jaymi is a mother of three and spunky, sweet, carefree minister’s wife in Indiana. Jaymi is a big supporter and participant of Do-It-Yourself/Handmade and especially eco-friendly! She is also one of the writers of HomespunOasis.com a blog focused on DIY handmade projects focusing on recycling, upcycling and being earth friendly. I will be doing a special feature post on Homespun Oasis tomorrow, so be sure to check back! Jaymi also has a personal blog: flipflopmamma.com, where she does great giveaways and posts on being a mom and parent to her three children.

Bee Simple Spiced Chai

I am a huge chai tea lover and have been at a loss to find a chai that measures up to the deliciousness at my favorite cafe: Alta Coffee Co in Newport Beach, CA (located on 31st in Newport Beach, sorry no website available!). Her shipment arrived in great time (a lot sooner than I was expecting, especially since she has 3 kids!) and I made myself a cuppa right away. I fell in love and bought two or three more orders. I love her chai a lot because she uses fresh ground spices (all of her products are made to order, so you know they’re as fresh as possible!) which she grinds into a powder. Her chai comes with directions on how to make the perfect cup of hot or iced chai.

Bee Simple also makes her own body care products including body butter, scrub, lip balm, hand cream and dread wax! All of Jaymi’s body care (and chai) recipes are her own creations and she uses natural, organic products (including a variety of essential oils and scents). Unfortunately, I have not yet had the privilege of trying her body care products, so I can’t say from my own personal experience how wonderful these products are, but she is sending me some product to try and I’m excited to tell you all how much I love them! She has 100% positive feedback on her shop (see and read for yourself!) and uses all her own products, so you know it’s quality!
