This week I have been working on completing some custom orders I received – a recipe box which I finished earlier this week; and a card box – with 10-15 cards instead of the usual 5-6 I do. The past couple days I have been working on the cards – The box is intended to be for someone who is just starting to make her own cards – so I have been doing my best to use as many techniques, tools, patterns, colors and designs as possible. I have been using paper from my scrap drawer (never throw away your scraps!!!) and making some really cute cards (it surprises me too) … some of them I’m rather reluctant to be giving away, but they’re going on to better places :) I finished the cards and decorated the box this afternoon and here are the final results … Always remember I LOVE DOING CUSTOM WORK!!!

I ordered a couple sets of new stamps this week from Stampin’ Up that came in today that I’m really excited about! I’m hoping to get a chance this weekend to break them out and try some new ideas and designs. If not this weekend, then definitely next week!
