Custom Surfing BABY Word Album

This was a custom designed BABY word album for a good friend of mine for their first baby. I wanted to design the book to Monica’s tastes, which are not traditional pink-for-a-girl-blue-for-a-boy. She and her husband love to surf and have a house in El Salvador where they live for the entire surfing season every year. So I wanted to tailor the book to their personalities, lifestyle and passions. There’s no rule that Baby things need to be cutesy pink and blue with diaper pins and teddy bears. Therefore, I designed the entire book using surfing and summer themes with some baby embellishments. I designed the book by hand using chipboard with Forte font, complete with lots of space for pictures of their new born!
