JOY Album in Yellow

This cheerful custom chipboard word album was part of a six-album custom order I did in November. The friend who ordered these from me is giving them as Christmas presents to their friends! Such an awesome idea!
Every aspect of this album was custom designed and made by hand, right down the chipboard letters which were designed for me by my husband in Illustrator, then traced and cut out on illustration board and sanded down (to make the edges softer). Each page, or letter, is covered with a yellow cardstock patterned with dry-embossed polkadots. All the edges of each letter and all the edges of all paper I used are inked with a Charcoal black chalk ink to cover up those unsightly white edges and bring the album all together in one cohesive creation.

Materials: In decorating the album, I used this cheerful patterned paper line called Paisley and Petals by SEI. Embellishments included stamps from SEI, cardstock cut outs from SEI, cardstock stickers from SEI, an assortment of paper flowers and black and white colored brads, white eyelets and ribbon.
