Custom LOVE Album in Green

This beautiful custom chipboard word album was part of a six-album custom order I did in November. The friend who ordered these from me is giving them as Christmas presents to their friends! Such an awesome idea!
Every aspect of this album was custom-designed and made by hand, right down the chipboard letters which were designed for me by my husband in Illustrator, then traced and cut out on illustration board and sanded down (to make the edges softer). Each page, or letter, is covered with a green woven cardstock (I used two different tones for the green, a slightly lighter and slightly darker, then alternated each letter). All the edges of each letter and all the edges of all paper I used are inked with an olive chalk ink to cover up those unsightly white edges and bring the album all together in one cohesive creation.
In decorating the album, I used this beautiful patterned paper line called A Family Affair by ATD (Momenta). Embellishments included stamps from Close To My Heart’s Playful Flourishes set, walnut stain ink from Ranger, an assortment of paper flowers and coordinating brads, green eyelets and ribbon.
