Custom LOVE Album in Black and Red

This beautiful custom chipboard word album was part of a six-album custom order I did in November. The friend who ordered these from me is giving them as Christmas presents to their friends! Such an awesome idea!
Every aspect of this album was custom-designed and made by hand, right down the chipboard letters which were designed for me by my husband in Illustrator, then traced and cut out on illustration board and sanded down (to make the edges softer). Each page, or letter, is covered with a black or pomegranate red woven cardstock (alternating each letter). All the edges of each letter and paper are inked with a black chalk ink to cover up those unsightly white edges and bring the album all together in one cohesive creation.

Materials: In decorating the album, I used this beautiful patterned paper line from Jenny Bowlin. Embellishments included stamps from Close To My Heart’s Moments acrylic set, black ink from Versa Magic and silver ink from Color Box, an assortment of paper flowers and coordinating brads, silver eyelets and ribbon.
