This beautiful custom chipboard word album was part of a six-album custom order I did in November. The friend who ordered these from me is giving them as Christmas presents to their friends! Such an awesome idea!
Every aspect of this album was custom designed and made by hand, right down the chipboard letters which were designed for me by my husband in Illustrator, then traced and cut out on illustration board and sanded down (to make the edges softer). Each page, or letter, is covered with an orange cardstock. All the edges of each letter and all the edges of all paper I used are inked with a charcoal black chalk ink to cover up those unsightly white edges and bring the album all together in one cohesive creation.

All the edges of each letter and all the edges of all paper I used are inked with a Charcoal black chalk ink to cover up those unsightly white edges and bring the album all together in one cohesive creation.

All the edges of each letter and all the edges of all paper I used are inked with a French Blue chalk ink to cover up those unsightly white edges and bring the album all together in one cohesive creation.
In decorating the album, I used this beautiful patterned paper line called 29th Street Market by My Mind’s Eye. Embellishments included stamps from cardstock cutouts from My Mind’s Eye, rub-ons from KI Memories, stickers from Scenic Route, cardstock picture frames, an assortment of paper flowers and slate colored brads, black eyelets and ribbon.

Each page, or letter, is covered with a green woven cardstock (I used two different tones for the green, a slightly lighter and slightly darker, then alternated each letter). All the edges of each letter and all the edges of all paper I used are inked with an olive chalk ink to cover up those unsightly white edges and bring the album all together in one cohesive creation.
In decorating the album, I used this beautiful patterned paper line called A Family Affair by ATD (Momenta). Embellishments included stamps from Close To My Heart’s Playful Flourishes set, walnut stain ink from Ranger, an assortment of paper flowers and coordinating brads, green eyelets and ribbon.

This LOVE Word Album (one of my all-time favorite projects) was custom designed and put together entirely by hand. The album is custom designed with a beautiful font (Forte) for my good friend and her husband to be used as a coffee table piece in their house. I was given colors (olive green, tan, brown, off white, and black) to design with and was given creative license to design the rest. Knowing they are very nature-oriented, I used a lot of natural aspects like flowers and stamped flourishes.

This Family Album was designed using a Paisley and Petals Scrapbook Album kit by SEI. The album was a going away present for a cousin of mine who is moving overseas for an indefinite length of time. I received, printed and adhered into the album, pictures obtained from both her and her husband’s family. I put together the pages designed by SEI and put the rest of the pages together using my own ideas. The album came with a gorgeous box to keep it safe that I wrapped with a white ribbon. I also left the last few pages blank for her to add more photos.

This fun album was completely designed and created by hand. It was a gift for my sister-in-law when she and her husband purchased their first house. The chipboard covers were designed and cut out by hand, then sanded down and distressed. The front door opens to reveal the first page of the album, while the back door slides (like a sliding glass door) open to reveal the last page of the album.

This was the first custom album I designed with all my own ideas. It was a personal project to showcase my birthday trip to Disneyland in May 2007. Each page is designed to coordinate with the land, ride or character portrayed in the photograph/s. I had so much fun making this album that it motivated me to design 3 more scrapbook albums.
