Turning 2 Card
Please be sure to browse through my Shop! This weekend I listed a handful of brand new cards and two new bulletin boards! Please be sure to spread the word to your family and friends! I LOVE doing custom work, too! Please don’t hesitate to ask for something special!
This card is designed with Creative Imaginations’ Studio Basics 101 Zoe Collection. This particular card is for a little girl turning 2, but the layout can be used for any age or gender with just a few changes. The Zoe and Zack Collections feature the same designs, but use different colors for boys and girls.
Turning 2 Card
Materials
- Yellow Cardstock (8 1/2 x 11″)
- Creative Imaginations Zoe Two cardstock (sorry I can’t find it online!)
- Creative Imaginations Zoe cardstock stickers (sorry I can’t find them anywhere online!)
- Yellow ric rac ribbon
Instructions
- Cut a piece of yellow cardstock to 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″. Score and fold in half to make a 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ card. The card will have a landscape orientation.
- Cut a piece of patterned cardstock (I used Zoe Two for a two year old, but use any patterned paper you prefer, or find some paper that is patterned with the age you are making your card for) to 5 1/2″ x 3 1/2″. Adhere to the top of the card (where the fold is).
- Cut out a length of 5 1/2″ scalloped border. Adhere across the bottom of the card.
- Tie a piece of yellow ric rac ribbon across the front of the card. Tie in a knot to the left side of the card.
- On the patterned paper I used, there were number ‘2’s all over, which I cut out. An alternative would be to use chipboard numbers, cut out from another piece of paper. On this card the number 2 is cut out and adhered with little foam pop dots to it sits above the yellow ric rac ribbon.
- Adhere three coordinating buttons to the right side of your age. My buttons were chipboard stickers, but real buttons would be really cute!
Thanks for creating with me! I am sorry I was not able to find images of the paper and stickers I used!
