Today I am going to do more of a fun post. My Top Ten favorite scrapbooking/crafting products or companies!

1. American Craftspaper – particularly their floral and “natural” lines

2. CutterBee scissors – small, sharp pointed scissors absolutely FANTASTIC for making small, detailed cuts! (great for both right and left handers!) They’re $6-7 and one of the best investments you will ever make!

3. Tweezer Bee (tweezers) – Yes I know, it seems silly, but believe you me they come in handy countless times. Especially when working with glue dots, ribbon (i.e. tying bows or getting ribbon through small holes in buttons or other pendants or charms), “bling”, or simply placing glued objects in the right place so your fingers don’t get messy.

4. Self Healing cutting mat – Especially because I use an X-acto knife for most of my work rather than scissors or even a rotary blade. These mats (mine is from Making Memories – others from Fiskars or Xacto) provide a great working surface and also provide a fantastic mat to make clean, straight cuts.

5. Martha Stewart Wide Tip Glue Pen – Great for cards and scrapbook pages – I have never had a problem with the glue coming up (except when glueing on chipboard) or bubbling.

6. Stamp cleaner – I got this cleaner for the purpose of cleaning my stamps after using Staz-On ink, but it works fantastically on all of my stamping inks. Invest in a foam pad to scrub the ink off and you’ll be good to go! (be sure to get cleaner that will take off StazOn ink)

7. Crop A Dile – The scrapbookers/crafters answer to punching holes and setting eyelets! The first time I tried this particular tool when I made an Easter garland out of wooden shapes, I was convinced and immediately put it on my birthday list. The crop a dile comes in a cute little case, with an assortment of colored eyelets.

8. SEI paper – My new favorite paper company – I absolutely love their colors and designs!

9. Magazine subscriptions to Crafts Magazine and PaperCrafts Magazine

10. A Cat. No craft room is complete without a furry little cat (or dog I suppose) to help with ribbon, scraps of paper and making sure things are flat and pressed down evenly.
