Hello Moms, Moms-to-be, going-to-be-Moms-someday, and friends-of-Moms!

I need your expertise and assistance please! As you all know, I’ve got this little business and hobby of making scrapbooks and cards and albums and other assorted crafty projects. I’m trying to expand my product line, attract more business, and ultimately find new and interesting things to create! So, I’m dipping my toes in baby products. I just finished a baby colors book decked out in Disney, will be working on alphabet and numbers books soon, and am currently experimenting with baby books.

The Baby Book/Album I’m designing is not a photo album, per say, but there will be plenty of room for lots of pictures. This is intended to be more of a baby memories/information book, where you write all the birth information – time, name, hospital, when the water broke, your first impressions of your infant, etc, keep clippings of your baby’s first haircut, hand and footprints, keepsakes, growth information, medical information, etc.

I really want to make this into a book that Mommies and Daddies will really love and want to use, and a place to record information they actually care about. So I’m asking you, Moms, etc, for your help and advice on what sort of information to include, and any information you don’t really care about. So far I am working off my own baby album from like 28 years ago, and I’d like to know what the modern mom wants to remember about her pregnancy, birth, and the first year or two. If any of you have your babies’ books handy, I’d love to know which parts you filled out!
