My “Inspiration Alley” post this week is the amazing Hero Arts new website and blog. Seasoned scrapbookers and cardmakers who do a lot of stamping will recognize the Hero Arts name as a great company that produces great quality products. They are primarily a stamp company, but they also have a great line of accessory products for stamping like paper, inks and other tools. This week, they launched a brand new makeover of their website, shop and blog.

There are a lot of things I love about Hero Arts, their products and their website and blog:

  • First off, I LOVE their stamps – Their stamps are consistently some of my favorites out there – both their acrylic stamps and rubber stamps. They produce such a wide variety of designs and themes that are so timeless and fun. I have an entire drawer full of stamps, the vast majority of which are Hero Arts.
  • Blog. One big thing that frustrates me with a lot of inspirational blogs and product companies is how inconsistently and infrequently they update their blogs and idea pages. Hero Arts is one of those great exceptions that updates almost every day and packs each entry with great content, pictures and fantastic ideas. They do a lot with showcasing different in-house designers and other designers (people like you and me!) who post ideas they created on their Flickr page. Their posts are informative, easy to read and a great source of inspiration!
  • Ideas Galore. One of my favorite things about the Hero Arts company is their excitement about their products and sharing of ideas. Each product in their shop (more often than not) includes at least one idea – usually a card or page layout that uses that particular product. Their Idea page showcases a huge variety of their designs using a lot of different products, tools, techniques and designs. For instance, looking around the other day for some Baby stamps, I came across an acrylic set to make baby announcements and invitations – they included two ideas for two completely different designs that looked great and gave me some inspiration for a project I was working on!
  • My Hero Club – Hero Arts ‘Club’ is a free club where you can sign up for all kinds of email newsletters, card of the week and layout of the week. It’s also a great resource to keep track of the stamps you have, the ones you love, and the products you are dying to have! I receive their Card of the Week and Layout of the Week emails and they have been fantastic resources for inspiration!
