Saturday is PaperCrafts’ World Card Making Day! This year I will be celebrating the crafters’ holiday by having a big sale on my etsy (www.L7Designs.etsy.com) site!

This week I am hard at work making a lot of Christmas and all occasion cards. I am trying to make a wide variety of cards, using a variety of different techniques and materials and of course lots of different patterns and paper!

Friday night I will be posting all my new cards on my etsy site for the start of the sale on Saturday morning, the 4th through Monday the 6th of October. All of my handmade cards will be buy one get one free or buy 3 for $7!

This past week I found some really neat American Crafts Christmas paper and embellishments. American Crafts is one of my favorite scrapbooking companies and of course I couldn’t resist making a bunch of cards with their paper! I really like the way these came out – and I especially love their embellishments. They’re funky and cute, but not over the top. I haven’t done much with embossing for a while, so decided to experiment with some new powders I have and new Christmas stamps I got this last week at Archivers from Hero Arts. I managed to produce 6 cards out of the paper and embellishments I have in the American Crafts line and they will all be on my site this weekend! Below is a little teaser of some of the cards I made this afternoon!

Thanks for reading with me!
