This weekend I have been real busy finishing up some real cute projects and tonight posted them on my etsy site! This week I finished an outdoor pocket album with some fantastic camping/outdoor/nature paper I found at archivers. I found a paper pack complete with cutouts, phrases, vellum cutouts and other paper embellishments. Scrapbooks are not just for ladies! Just like the outdoors, hiking and camping is not just for men! Either way, this outdoor pocket album will fit perfectly for those outdoor memories and keepsakes. It is a bit larger than the last pocket album I made – this one should fit regular 4×6 photos – on both the pockets and the inserts. Each pocket and insert is designed and decorated with a different theme ranging from water, nature, hiking, the starry night sky and more. The embellishments and paper are really cute, but NOT girly cute – classy, somewhat masculine and rugged cute. It’s a great album. And I was able to make a few cards with some of the same paper and I am including them with the album on my etsy site basically for free. For you nature lovers, though, I found a great stamp set this weekend by Yours Truly and I am really excited to try some card ideas I have roaming around in my head.

The next project I did this weekend was a recipe box. My sister-in-law gave me one for Christmas this year that she made and I thought it was so cute and such a great idea that I decided to make one myself. Using some kitchen/cooking themed paper I have picked up here and there over the year I decorated a tin box and embellished with ribbon and these cute metal kitchen charms I found this weekend. Inside the box are 9 different recipe themes ranging from appetizers and salads to main dishes and casseroles to desserts and cookies. Also included is a pack of lined recipe cards.

And the last project I put together this weekend is a cute keepsake pail decorated with a brown, green and blue color palette with flowers and butterflies. Every young girl and woman needs a cute place to keep knick-knacks, keepsakes and little collectibles from those moments and events in life we want to remember forever. The pail is quart-sized and perfect for young girls!

This week I am hoping to work on more cards and another decorative box. Stay tuned!
