Blue & White SEI Birthday Wishes Card
Materials
- Seafoam (Silver foil) patterned paper from SEI
- String Bikini (Blue foil) patterned paper from SEI
- Silver metallic ribbon
- Silver embossing powder
- “Birthday Wishes” acrylic stamp from Inkadinkadoo (Garden Flowers stamp set)
- Adhesives – your favorite paper adhesive, ribbon adhesive and mini pop dots
- Paper cutter
- Embossing Heat Tool
Instructions
- Cut a 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ piece from 12″ x 12″ Seafoam patterned paper. Score and fold in half to make a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ card. The blue side (with silver foil accents) should be facing out. The card will have a landscape orientation.
- Cut a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of String Bikini patterned paper (white side with blue foil flowers). Adhere to the center of the card.
- Emboss “Birthday Wishes” on a piece of Seafoam patterned paper (blue side) in silver. Emboss on a larger piece, then cut down to 1″ x 2 1/4″.
- Matte embossed paper on top of gray side of Seafoam patterned paper. Trim leaving a 1/4″ border.
- Tie ribbon in a knot and adhere to the front of the card, about 1/3 down from the top.
- Adhere the embossed papers to the bottom right corner of the card on mini pop dots so that it is halfway between the white and blue patterned papers.
Optional additions to the card would be blue or silver crystal stickers (”bling”) or a cute silver charm tied with the ribbon. Include your favorite sentiment stamp, sticker or hand-written note inside the card.
